Sonicator Instructions

Procedure:

1. Carefully lower beaker into the sonicator, making sure that the height of the beaker is tall enough to prevent contamination. Set the timer (shown below) for the duration desired and make sure the alarm is on

2. Fill the sonicator, turn on the power switch  and start the timer.

3. Pay close attention to your specimen while in the sonicator, (especially light objects) make sure that it is sitting even in the liquid bath and not floating at an angle, this could severely affect the results of your process.

4. When the timer alarm goes off immediately remove the specimen, turn off the sonicator and remove the liquid if it is not to be used again.
