Chemical waste disposal procedures

Laboratory personnel requiring access to the Chemistry Department's bulk dispensing area and the HSE chemical waste room located between Remsen and Merganthaller Halls must enter via the Remsen Hall basement.

The current excavation between Remsen and Merganthaller Halls prevents exterior access to the Remsen Chemical Waste room. Persons transporting used chemicals from Dunning Hall or transporting chemicals on carts should use the Dunning-Remsen tunnel.

Chemical Waste collection schedule:

Thursday 10:30-11:30a.m. and 1:00-2:00p.m. except University observed holidays.
